Simply DIY || Color Blocked Wooden Coasters

It's been a hot minute since my last DIY and since our house is in the midst of a severe coaster shortage, I thought it was time I whipped something up and shared it with you all. You can never have too many coasters, so if you're looking for a new spot for your beverages and coffee cups to rest, make this your next quick project!

Here's what you'll need:

  • 4in x 4 in wooden squares (I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby)
  • You choice of wood stain
  • White paint
  • Painter's tape

Here's what you do:

- If your wood is unstained, staining it is the first step. Use an old paintbrush and put one coat on. Let it sit overnight to ensure it's completely dry.

- Then decide the pattern you want to paint- I couldn't decide on just one, so I did two different patterns. Tape it off and paint!

- Let it dry and grab your coffee!
