We've been home for a little over a week and, though I'm glad to be with the girls again, WOW I WANT TO GO BACK.

I'm so excited to share a few photos with you all that didn't end up on Instagram. As always, I should have taken way more pictures, but I'm thankful I took the ones I did. I'm definitely planning on getting some printed and framed (even though that's probably one of my worst qualities- following through with hanging photos).

A little background of the trip before I flood you with photos- last Christmas, my mom and dad bought AJ and I tickets to Family Life's A Weekend to Remember , a weekend long marriage retreat. And though there were retreats closer to home, we really wanted to save up and make it a big trip.

5 Practical Ways to Use Essential Oils at Home

Today I'm so excited to talk about something that I've become really excited about over the past few years- especially since becoming a mom.

Amy, AJ's aunt (who we used to live with in CO) has become a bit of a doTerra essential oil's aficionado recently and between her and my mom, who also uses these oils religiously, I've learned a little about them myself. Amy is truly passionate about the way essential oils can change lives and diminish the need for other chemicals or medications- so I'm excited to be collaborating with her for this post. She was sweet enough to give me a box of 9 of the most popular oils in roll-on bottles, which is a super convenient way to apply them, for me to use and talk about here.

Hi sweet friends!
As you probably know, I'm currently in Cali with my lover boy, so I'm taking a little hiatus from all things blogging. But I didn't want this space to be totally neglected while I was gone.

My sweet friend (and incredibly talented photographer) Amy agreed to do a little guest post for me while I was gone. She is sharing some awesome tips for taking photos of your kids, because we can't all have a live-in professional, like Amy's family does ;) She has taken all of the professional photos that you've seen around my blog and I've absolutely loved every single image. Here's a little peek into the photos she's taken for us:
