Today is the day! I've been so excited to write this post- I'm finally ready to share my full Fall capsule. If you're unsure of what a capsule wardrobe is, or are looking for tips on how to plan one, check out part one here.
This is my first season creating a capsule wardrobe and I'm already addicted. The process of picking pieces and planning is so fun as is the freedom of knowing that I have 30 pieces that I love to wear and know will look good together. The feeling of looking at my closet (full of SO MUCH clothing) and thinking I have nothing to wear is gone and I absolutely love the cohesive feel of my wardrobe now.
My daughter woke up at 4:30 am this morning. The rain that had started when when we went to bed was still falling in a quiet, rhythmic pattern outside, reminding me of how little time had passed since I closed my eyes. The house was cold- our little space heater tries to heat our big house, but ends up being carried from room to room, reminding me of how quickly Winter will be here.
Mornings are tired, grumpy, half-hearted times- usually. The term "morning person" could not be less true of me.
My Mara,
You grow chubbier by the day. I still can't believe how quickly these months are going- I feel like I can literally see you changing.
Have you ever invited people over to your house for dinner only to realize later that you have absolutely no idea what to make? Yeah, me too. Every single time. Last week was no exception. AJ wanted to have some friends over from work- and while I love having company- when the day arrived, I was stressed trying to decide what to make. So I headed to Walmart to look for inspiration.
I needed something fast, healthy(ish) and simple to make- enter this quinoa dip.
